See what matters
to your mission.

Your reports should answer your questions. We build views for executive directors, program leaders, boards, and committees, with the detail each needs.

01

Where do our programs stand?

Program income, expenses, and budget comparisons.

02

What funds are available?

Visibility into restricted funds, campaigns, and spending.

03

What should leadership know?

Customized formats and meaningful financial trends.

01

Nonprofit financial
statements.

CORE REPORTS

Nonprofit statements look different from a business’s. We prepare them the way your board, auditor and funders expect to see them.

  • Statement of financial position
  • Statement of activities, with and without donor restrictions
  • Statement of functional expenses
  • Net asset and restricted fund balances
02

Budget, program
and grant reports.

MANAGEMENT REPORTING

Nonprofits run on budgets. We show how each program, campaign and grant is tracking, so leaders can act before a problem shows up at year end.

  • Actuals versus budget
  • Program and campaign income and expenses
  • Grant spending and remaining balances
  • Restricted fund activity and releases
03

Board-ready
and easy to read.

CUSTOM FORMATS

Reports follow the format your board already uses, or we help design a better one. Key numbers and trends come first, with detail available for the finance committee.

  • Board and finance committee packets
  • Custom formats, graphs, and trend reporting
  • Key performance indicators for programs and fundraising
  • Monthly or quarterly reporting schedules
FINANCIAL REPORTING QUESTIONS

Before we talk.

Can reports follow the format our board uses?

Yes. Customized reporting is central to our approach. We learn what your leaders need to see and design reports around those priorities.

What is a statement of activities?

It is the nonprofit version of an income statement. It shows revenue and expenses for the period, split between funds with donor restrictions and without donor restrictions, and how those amounts change your net assets.

Can we see reporting by program or grant?

Yes. When the chart of accounts and fund structure are set up for it, we can report income, expenses and budget comparisons by program, campaign and grant.
